Every Saturday stalls fill the town centre square behind Farmers and there is a hall full of intriguing wares including musical instruments, jewellery, clothing and electronics. A lot of the Pacific Island and Polynesian artefacts that sell here are difficult to find in one place anywhere else. There’s a whole row of food stalls, including fresh fruit and vegetables, which are cheap and top quality.
 
Otara Markets

The streets of the Otara town-ship have a carnival atmosphere on Saturday mornings with throngs of family groups making their way to the rows and rows of stalls set up in the shopping centre car park. You’ll find fresh, cheap, good quality fruit and vegetables from the familiar to the exotic. The plants and flowers are equally good value and generous sized bunches are yours for only about $2.50 each.

The markets here are of a good quality, with anything from succulents to bath bombs, whistles to rimu frames. In fact there's something for everyone including good quality second hand books.The cheap plants and fresh flowers are another attraction.
 
Titirangi markets

Titirangi is a creative, new age community, and the vibrant, busy markets perfectly represent this. There are rows and rows of stalls both outside and undercover in the Titirangi Memorial Hall, which are filled with ethnic foods, gorgeous screen-printed cushions, garden sculptures, and affordable antiques. Different local musicians take turns livening up the scene, and there is food and drink for sale.
